William Evan Berry was found in the 1850 Wayne Township census as a physician having been born in Kentucky, age 24. With him is Edwin H. Berry, age 27 a school teacher, born in Kentucky. They are with Mary Ellis age 62 born in Kentucky. She may/may not be their mother. William Evan Berry died young as well as did James Berry. These two may have been relation (perhaps 1st cousins) to Dr. James Berry who also lived in that area. Dr. Julian Berry could also be relation to these young physicians. This young man was born on the 21st of July in 1826 and passed away at barely past his 28th birthday (plus 22 days) on August 12, 1854 and is buried in the Crawfordsville IOOF Cemetery. Sadly, his tombstone does not even indicate he was a Dr. -- kbz
